Saturday night, Karen and I went out for dinner. On the way home I decided I couldn't go another night without a chocolate... so decided to stop at the garage near my house.

I'm pretty cautious when it comes to garages, especially at 12.30 at night. Anyway, when I pulled up I looked inside the shop before I switched my car off as there was one other car there. All looked fine. There was a man standing by the counter, he looked like he was buying something.

Then next minute another man appeared. He stood infront of the doors (on the outside near my car), blocking the way and looking at me. He had his hand in his pocket. It looked very much like he was holding a gun. It felt like he was warning me not to get out my car and to bugger off. I reversed and drove out of there, fast.

For a couple days now I have been wondering if I was imaging a robbery... wondering if I'm just too suspicious. So yesterday I went back to the garage. Whilst I filled up with petrol I asked the guy if they were robbed. He said yes. That freaked me out totally and now I feel incredibly guilty! That poor man behind the counter probably thought someone was about to come and help him out of a horrible situation... then I just drove off. Sorry behind the counter petrol station man. Next time I will call the police...
