This weekend was a quiet, thoughtful, broke one. Didn't do that much so am squashing it onto one post.

Ethan and I went to watch a movie at Hyde Park Saturday afternoon then walked around Dion Wired - so many nice toys there! There's even this amazing interactive game that he played - you just stand in front of it and it sees you (like Wii but without the control) - what an amazing time to be a kid!

Ethan wanted an iPod for Christmas so I convinced him to settle for the shuffle which is R500. Then when we got home I remembered the shuffle I got for one of my birthdays. I thought it was broken as it got full of sea sand when I went to CT - but I charged it and ta-da it works! So Ethan gets a bright pink iPod shuffle (he's really happy) and it didn't cost me a cent. Nice!

We also entertained ourselves with board games. Played Spelldown which is the same as scrabble. The other night I made a joke to some friends that I can only come up with 4 letter words. Turns out it was no joke - that's the best I can do, it's embarrassing!
