25/09 Saturday 08h00 - Make me different, PLEASE!

In the early hours of Saturday morning I went off to get a new look with Andrea whilst Charlene came over to look after Ethan (they went birthday shopping for me which was incredibly sweet, thank you Charlene!)


Andrea's hairdresser is in Pretoria - I have no idea how we got there but I will definitely be going back. I didn't go very blonde in the end but cut quite a bit off which made me feel so much better... and it only cost me R400!!! Yes, just R400 for half a head of two colours (highlights and a darker shade) and a cut and blow - WoW!

24/09 Friday - Bad Day

When you wake up in a bad mood you just know everything is going to go against you for the rest of the day unless you snap out of it... I tried to snap out of it but was so miserable and feeling so sorry for myself that I just couldn't... so my battery died twice in one day.

Lesson that was learned: Don't drink and drive and drunk and dial - you will leave you car lights on!

Went to dinner with Andrea and her lovely, crazy (they drink a lot!!) friends. There was a lot of love going around the table.

YAY! Ethan's concerts are finally over! It was fun in the beginning but 6 nights is a bit much! I like his silver munchkin hat so much I'm thinking of stealing it - now I just need to find somewhere to wear it...

I bought two tickets to Ethan's school concert at R100 a ticket (which is a lot for me) thinking I would have someone to take with me... and now I don't and I've realised I don't have enough friends... the ones I have work too hard and live too far :(

The Positive: I have a R100 handbag and snack holder

20/09 Monday 18h00 - It's a Girl

Jenny had her little girl yesterday. Evan Alice Collins was born at 6pm. I'm so excited, can't wait to play dress up. YAY!

I find it so funny how all the blue balloons from Jen's Baby Shower faded and all the pink girly ones stayed large - they knew it would be a girl.

After taking down the blue balloons I put them to good use and checked out what I'd look like if I actually had boobs... SCARY!

20/09 Monday

What a Monday this is turning out to be. Between Charlene and I we've turned a once cheery office into the temple of doom and gloom. If you stop by bring tissues, eye drops and perhaps a crucifix to guard yourself against the negativity.

19/09 Sunday - 08h30

Sunday was Ethan's lat soccer tournament for the season. His team got a free kick and the coach got Ethan to take it - he scored their first goal! I was so incredibly proud.
After a long day in the sun we came home and treated ourselves to the biggest pizza I've ever seen!

18/09 Saturday

This was a black whole of a day that was so incredibly crap it doesn't deserve a picture!! All I will say is that every time my horoscope says it's going to be one of my most romantic days it turns into the loneliest, worst day of all time (yes I am feeling sorry for myself)
