I just spent what feels like half the day walking around Sandton trying to find an outfit for a party. I didn't even give myself a budget... I said "Debbie go wild, enjoy, have fun - you deserve it!" and STILL I couldn't find anything. I must have a freakishly long body as dresses just land up being tiny tank tops on me when I put them on. I really do hate shopping.
I did however find these ankle boots from Woolies that are really comfy and I love!

I've decided to start my running program again today. I tried to find a picture of a hot woman to put on it to motivate me but know I'd just start hating her and give up so I decided to use words for encouragement instead. Am hoping this will get me out of the car and onto the field this evening...

I had to make a phone call just now. I thought it would be a nasty one (this person and I had a phone fight this weekend). Whilst the phone was ringing I wrote this on my notepad to try and get though it (lame I know). Phone call turned out completely differently then expected. This person even aplogised. Don't you love being pleasantly surprised!?

I once read somewhere (think it was in one of my stupid chic lits) that if you want to stop a bad habit you must wear a rubber band on your wrist and zap yourself every time you commit that bad habit. Well... I think I swear WAY too much and thought I'd give it a try... let me just say it hurts like a #(%&#$ f&$^er!

Sunday morning Ethan and I got up bright and early and went to do the Zoo Trot at the JHB Zoo. I'm very glad I got out of bed. It was a great way to spend a Sunday morning. Ethan got a medal - I didn't - I was a little jealous...
We then spent the rest of the afternoon at my parents place having a potjie and ooo'ing and aaah'ing over kittens. This is the kitten I'm thinking of sneaking into my home...

I had an unexpected but lovely weekend with Ethan. We spent the morning browsing around the Oriental Plaza and then China Mall (not the one by Bruma).
Late afternoon we took my mom and gran out for tea and cake. It started to rain when we needed to walk back to the car. I had just brought the car closer and saw Ethan trying to hold the umbrella over my grans head, was very sweet...

08.03.2012 - 09h58 - A girl can dream
I check out my stats quite often... like to see if anyone actually looks at my pics... For those of you don't know much about stats - I can't see who you are - I can only see where the person is from and the browser they use.
Now... this one is coming up quite a lot which makes me ecstatically happy (someone actually looks at my blog!!). Of course my imagination runs aways with me and I imagine this person to be a filthy rich handsome man who is going to fly me and Ethan off to go and live with him in his mansion in California.
The reality however is probably this: a middle aged hormonal woman who divides her time between my blog and scrap booking. Oh well, a girl can dream :)

17h00 - 17h30: Sitting in car outside Ethan's school waiting for him to return from his cricket match. I read a book on mind mapping so we can get better at this thing called learning.
17h30 - 19h00: Walked round and round a school field while Ethan played soccer
19h30: Devoured my second vegan pizza (just as delicious sober). The ONLY problem with a vegan pizza is that without all that rich cheese you polish a whole large one off with no problem and still have a hungry hole in your tummy (maybe I'm just a pig)...

The other day my dear Camilla gave me a dress she didn't want... at first I wasn't too sure but then I fell in love with it (and wore it two days in a row - g.r.o.s.s). I love how light and flowy it is but the best bit's the pockets!! Makes me feel quite mumsy haha. Thanks Camilla xoox
