Storm is on its way. So excited. Hoping it's not as paethetic as last nights... While I was taking the pic I thought I'd take another of the swamp outside Jen's office window (the FHM guys once swam in that!!)

Ethan and I went to Sandton to get his hair cut into a mohawk again. It was damn expensive for a kids haircut but looks awesome. Then spoilt ourselves by pigging out on ocean basket... to much goodness on one plate!

Last night I went through a whole bunch of old discs I have lying around... found these drawings on them dated 2003... funny that there's a preggie one...
05/10 Tuesday 15h00 - Beautiful Bedroom
Andrea is always putting beautiful inspiring images on her blog and it has inspired me so much that I've decided to redecorate my bedroom.
I'm thinking of having the walls this colour with very light white curtains fluttering in the wind while I relax reading a book. Looks so romantic and feminine and beautiful.

I only woke up at 11am Sunday morning!! Wonderful!!
Spent the day playing with my new computer, admiring all my beautiful birthday flowers and visiting my dads photo exhibition in Rosebank. Lovely relaxing day, just the way a Sunday is meant to be...

Friday night I wasn't planning on doing anything... then got invited to hOOters by Andrea. What a F.U.N!!!! night!
Two things stand out from that night 1) having to sing "hey hey it's my birthday" every time the hooters girls pointed at me during their birthday song 2) the very first time I experienced tequila slaps (thought I was too old for things like that but it appears I'm not - was bloody awesome!)

Driving in to work this morning I saw this digger trying to knock this tree over. It would reverse and then bash into this poor tree, it made me want to cry (think I'm turning into a soft tree hugger)

Last night Dave came over to give me my birthday present, it was......... A COMPUTER! It's one of his old ones from work, it's a PC and apparently a slow one but I don't care right now - I have a computer! Which means I can try and make some extra money and become rich and famous at last, well maybe just rich, I'll be OK with that.
I forgot to take a picture of the computer but what I do have a picture of is a letter I wrote to BRAD PITT! Yip you read right... I went through my old diaries last night and this letter fell out of one of them. I figured if I could read it to Dave then I could let everyone else see. It's so incredibly funny. I think I was 16 at the time... (I have highlighted my favorite cringe worthy bits)
What I don't get is why I was asking him to send me pictures of places to go instead of pictures of his torso??!!

Hi! My name is Debbie Farrell, I live in South Africa. Some people don't like the idea of coming to South Africa because all they picture is violence and terror. But it isn't as bad as that! Sure, there are places that need some help, but, South Africa is really a wonderful, beautiful, historical place! If you take time to actually think back and see how far we have come along, at creating a more peaceful community, It is actually really a wonderful place!
There are so many beautiful placed to go see. there is the Cape Town waterfront, Durban, but, my favorite is to go to the Drakensburg mountains, they are just magnificent! It is an amazing place to go and be by ones self, to think things through, to be one with nature!
Along with this letter I have sent some pictures of the places to go to, in case you're ever in the neighborhood and want to go somewhere beautiful!
Well, I've read how much you love nature, so, I thought you might be interested!
If it's not too much trouble do you think you could possibly send me some pictures of some nice places to go overseas as I'm very interested in traveling, and of your new Gothic house, it sounds very beautiful, like a fantasy!
